This useful adaptor is designed to allow a vintage GPO telephone to be plugged into a Virgin Media broadband hub. Whilst an adaptor is provided by the ISP, you will find that whilst it works, the telephone will not ring. Our adaptor has a ringing capacitor built-in, which is missing from the Virgin adaptor. This adaptor may work with other ISPs but - so far - we have only been able to test it with a Virgin Media hub.
