The ivory alpha numeric dial back plate is an ideal replacement for damaged, missing or worn plates and is designed for use with all GPO 700 series rotary dial telephones (706, 710, 711, 740, 741 & 746).
Historically, this dial back plate would have featured on the first generation of Trimphones, late 706 telephones and early 746 telephones as the dial legend incorporates the A-B-C exchange dial information which ceased to be used in the 1960s.
Each dial plate has an overall diameter of 80mm and features two locator holes to allow it to be correctly positioned on the dial, it is held in place with a metal spring clip (not supplied).
